Eastern Mediterranean University Engineering Faculty Industrial Engineering Department final year student Efe Türkoğlu's outstanding performance during the optimisation project of the welding robots in one of the most important automobile companies in Turkey attracted sectoral attention. Efe Türkoğlu, who is expected to graduate from Industrial Engineering Department in July, put his name on an important project by decreasing the operation period of the welding robots from 3.5 minutes to 95 seconds. Within the framework of his project, Efe specified 'actions with no added value" in the areas of ergonomic design, methodology, and production planning, supported his findings with graphical data and completed his project, accordingly.
Efe Türkoğlu stated that his success in his projects is based on the high quality education he received from Eastern Mediterranean University's ABET accredited Industrial Engineering Department. Türkoğlu expressed the pleasure he had while he put the theory he gained from his studies into practice. Türkoğlu also extended his gratitude towards his instructors and Department chair Assist. Prof. Dr. Gökhan İzbırak.
