EMU Successfully Passes ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 10002 Student Satisfaction Management System Inspections

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 10002:2018 Student Satisfaction Management System inspections with full marks on both management systems, without any non-compliance detected. The said inspections have been carried out by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). Thus, EMU's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 10002:2018 Student Satisfaction Management System certificates have been renewed until 2025. The inspections ended with a closing meeting during which the work carried out by the quality team, operating under the coordination of the Total Quality Center Directorate, was evaluated.

Evaluations Shared

TSE Chief Inspector Mehmet Ali Göksel, TSE inspectors, EMU Vice Rector for Administrative and Technical Affairs Prof. Dr. Serhan Şensoy, Total Quality Center Director Hüseyin Yetiner, Quality Representatives of all units and Management Systems Consultant Latif Sakar attended the closing meeting. Results of the aforesaid inspections were shared by the Inspection Team at the meeting. Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Şensoy pointed out the importance of inspections in terms of advancing EMU's goals in the continuous improvement cycle and thanked all auditors, the Total Quality Center Directorate, quality representatives and consultant Latif Sakar. Hüseyin Yetiner, Director of the Total Quality Center, also extended his appreciation to his teammates and inspectors who worked hard throughout the inspection process, and stated that every inspection is important and that the results obtained are instructive, making a significant contribution to the university.
