Faculty of Engineering Dean's Tendency Survey October 2025

The Faculty of Engineering Dean's Tendency Survey will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, between 2:30 PM and 4:40 PM.

• Qualifications required for faculty members:

According to the Eastern Mediterranean University Academic Staff Staff and Working Regulations and Article 3(e) of the International Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Universities Established in Accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, signed between the Republic of Turkey:

a. To hold a Professorship at a university.

b. To have worked as a Faculty member or Faculty administrator at a university for at least three years.

c. To have extensive knowledge and experience in the aims, principles, and systems of higher education.

d. Fluency in English; proficiency in a second foreign language is preferred. 

• Candidacy Application:

Faculty members wishing to apply can apply by emailing the Chair of the Tendency Survey Committee and the Vice Dean (mustafa.ergil@emu.edu.tr). The email must include the candidate's CV (in Word or PDF format) and a file containing their academic publications. A "read receipt" must be requested for the email. The application deadline is Friday, October 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
