New Collaboration Protocol Signed by EMU and University of Bologna

A new collaboration protocol has been signed by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and the University of Bologna that foresees collaboration in the field of Comparative Legal Systems via a joint master’s program without a thesis. The said protocol was signed at the University of Bologna on the 12th of July 2018 by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam and University of Bologna Rector Prof. Dr. Francesco Ubertini. In previous years there were also academic collaborations and student exchange programs between the two universities.

In a statement Prof. Dr. Osam noted: “I am very happy to have signed another historical document for our university. We have signed this protocol to further our collaboration with the University of Bologna which is always amongst the best universities in the world. The new protocol signed with Rector Prof. Dr. Francesco Ubertini will be a yardstick for our university and academia in our country. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the development of our collaboration.”

EMU Vice Rector for International Affairs and Promotion Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova and Faculty of Law Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Arzu Alibaba were also present during the collaboration protocol signature ceremony.
