Eastern Mediterranean University’s (EMU) Turkish-medium graduate programs that have been offered in Nicosia since the 2012 – 2013 Academic Year Spring Semester continue to admit students in its Business Management, Banking and Finance, Managerial Economics, Financial Economics and Gender Studies Graduate Programs offered either with thesis and/or without thesis.
Apart from the mentioned graduate programs, Department of Banking and Finance offers the “Investment Evaluation and Project Finance Certificate” program in Nicosia within the framework of the collaboration agreement the department has with the Queens University, Canada. The courses delivered by the academic staff who have both academic and sectoral knowledge in the public, private sector or banking fields offer opportunities to those who want to improve themselves in these fields.
On the other hand, EMU Education Faculty, English Language Teaching master’s and PhD programs (with thesis and/or without thesis) as well as the EMU Education Faculty Turkish-medium master’s programs (with thesis) such as Guidance and Psychological Counselling, Educational Administration and Supervision, Education Programs and other graduate programs (with thesis) are being offered both in Famagusta and in Nicosia.
Classes after Working Hours
The graduate programs offered in Nicosia are held at the Atatürk Teacher Training Academy within the scope of the signed collaboration protocol. These programs, which aim to specialize the human resources in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in various fields, create an alternative for those who want to take part in business life and also take postgraduate education. In the post-graduate programs offered, the lectures are given after working hours, which provides a great advantage for both public and private sector employees. EMU graduates who will enroll in EMU Graduate Programs for the first time receive a 15% discount in tuition fees.
Discount for Public Servants
A 20% discount is to be applied to the tuition fees of public sector employees who will be enrolled to the said gradute programs during the 2021 – 2022 Academic Year Spring Semester. In addition to public sector employees, requests from private institutions were also taken into account, and a 30% discount on the tuition fees would be offered to employees of institutions who have signed or will sign a cooperation protocol with EMU.
