EMU Collaborates with Industry

Eastern Mediterranean University Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın and A.R. Esendağlı Ltd. representative Ali Rıza Özmatyatlı agreed in principle to establish collaborations between EMU and the said company.

Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın stated that Engineering Faculty offers educational services to around 3100 undergraduate students through 12 programs. Prof. Dr. Hocanın also put forth that prior to their graduation, students are required to take part in internship practice at a relevant company for a minimum period of 40 days. Prof. Dr. Hocanın stated that the collaboration carries special importance in the development of Research-Development and innovation related activities as well as sectoral collaboration.

Ali Rıza Özmatyatlı stated his pleasure in the collaboration and put forth that their main target is to develop joint projects of mutual benefit with specialised academic staff members as well as students of Eastern Mediterranean University. The said collaboration protocol will be signed by EMU and A.R. Esendağlı Ltd. during the upcoming days.
